Rating: Three shoggoths out of five
Nutshell: A man visits a castle-owner in England who is determined to drain the bog near his home. The terrified peasants all move away, whispering tales of a mystic city that lay underneath the bog waters. Commentary: This story is a decent quick read, but it is not nearly as interesting or weird as many of Lovecraft's other works. |
