The Baby.  Well this was a bizarre piece of work.  The plot revolves around this strange woman who has a grown son that seems to have the mind and intellect of a one-year-old child.  He sleeps in a crib.  He eats baby food.  He wears diapers.  It's weird.

But there is more going on than we see at first.  As the plot progresses, we learn more about the Baby and why he is the way he is.  I can't say too much without giving stuff away.  Not that you're likely to watch this movie, but still…There were parts when I sat up and said, "Holy crap."

It's an interesting film with an interesting, if not entirely surprising, ending.  The acting actually wasn't too terribly bad, bordering on quite good in many places.  The directing wasn't top notch, but he got the job done.  Honestly, this would have made a great Movie of the Week or something.  The twist ending, though one can see it coming, is still fairly good. Overall if you happen to catch this thing on late night TV, give it a watch.

DVD Details:

Not too bad a picture for a film made in 73 that no one really cares about.  Sound is decent
